Fund Raising - Direct Donation Drive
The Direct Donation Drive (DDD) at Jefferson Elementary School is typically the largest annual fundraiser organized by the Jefferson Parents and Teachers Association (JPAT). It is critically important for providing additional educational enhancements and learning resources that go beyond basic programs and necessities covered under current school budgets. Our principal, Denise Gorthy, does an amazing job working within her district budget to provide a high quality education for our children. But without question JPAT fundraising has made a meaningful difference in so many areas including: Art, Music, PE, field trips, classroom supplies, and much more. And success of JPAT's DDD helps us avoid asking our students to be involved in direct sales of greeting cards, gift wrap, magazines, and the like. We will kick off this year's drive at the Fall Barbeque on Sept 11th. We are so fortunate to have such fantastic parent and community involvement and financial support at Jefferson. Thank you all so much. This year our goal is to raise $16,000 and increase the number of contributing families to 100. Last year we exceeded our monetary goal and raised $17,000 with donations from 88 families. Our Direct Drive letter, contribution form, and remittance envelopes will be mailed in October. Please watch for these materials which will be sent out in beautifully hand-decorated mailing prepared by students from Jefferson School. If you do not receive the mailing you can download the Contribution Form here. Please consider printing out this form, filling it in, and mailing it to the Corvallis Public Schools Foundation. Then just print out the form, complete it, and mail it in.Make a credit card contribution using the secured on-line server at the Corvallis Public Schools Foundation web page. Just click the "Donate Now" button. When asked how you want to designate your gift - Simply respond "JPAT - Direct Donation Drive!"
