- JPAT (Jefferson Parents and Teachers)
- is a group of parents, teachers, staff, families, and friends dedicated
to the support of Jefferson Elementary School. They believe family involvement
is essential in helping a child grow to his or her fullest potential.
Become a voting member of JPAT by purchasing a membership for $10.00
per year. Forms available in the school office and on the JPAT Bulletin
Board.
- Major areas of focus for JPAT are:
- --Providing financial support for educational programs, materials,
and field trips that enhance our children's educational experiences
in art, literature, science, and music
--Building community by sponsoring special school events, projects,
activities and speakers
--Supporting staff needs through purchases of classroom materials and
recognition of staff efforts
--Recruiting volunteers to assist in school and community activities
--Maintaining open communication between the school and the home
